14-day Lockdown in Karnataka also announced to give free corona vaccine

Bengaluru: Corona cases are increasing in Karnataka, lockdown has been declared for 14 days. Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa said that the Corona curfew will be implemented in the state from 9 o’clock last night. The CM has named it ‘Close Down’.

During time limitations, shops with essential goods will open from 6 am to 10 am (for four hours). Just development, fabricating, and horticultural areas are permitted during the limitations. The public vehicle will be shut during time curfew. The Chief Minister said that in the age group of 18 to 45 years in government hospitals will get Covid-19 vaccine for free, the Health Department will make rules in such manner.

Karnataka had the highest number of 34,804 new cases confirmed on Sunday and 143 patients died. 14,426 people have died in the state and 13,39,201 people have been infected.
