If the driving license expires, get it updated by this date, otherwise it may be fined

New Delhi: The number of patients infected with the Corona virus is increasing in the country. In the wake of the Covid plague, the government has extended the validity of motor vehicle documents such as driving license (DL), certificate of registration (RC), and permit till 30 June 2021. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has said in a counsel to states that it is expanding the legitimacy of wellness, grants, driving licenses, enlistments, and different reports, which can’t be reached out because of lockdown and whose legitimacy is expected on February 1, 2020. Is finished or will end on 31 March 2020.

Earlier, the validity of documents related to the Motor Vehicles Act,, 1988 and the Central Motor Vehicles Rules have been expanded a few times. The Ministry told the states that it is educated that the legitimacy concerning the terminated records from February 1 can be viewed as legitimate till June 30, 2021.

Simultaneously, it was said in the discussion that the authorities concerned are encouraged to consider such records substantial till 30 June 2021. In such a circumstance, there will be no punishment till June 30, 2021. In any case, in the event that this legitimacy isn’t broadened further, from June 30, 2021, such expire documents can be fined.
