Maharashtra: 22 patients died due to oxygen leaking in Nashik hospital

Nashik: 22 patients have died because of oxygen leaks at Zakir Hussain Hospital in Nashik, Maharashtra. The Nashik region official has confirmed this. Maharashtra FDA Minister Rajendra Shingne had said that essential Information has been gotten that 11 peoples have died due to the spilling of oxygen. We are waiting for the detailed report. We have ordered an inquiry. Those who are guilty will not be left out.

As indicated by the Nashik magistrate, 150 peoples were hospitalized. 23 peoples were on ventilators. Others were on oxygen. It is being informed that oxygen leaked while feeling oxygen in the hospital. The fire unit group arrived at the spot and shut the oxygen valve. Serious patients have been moved to another hospital because of pipeline leakage.

Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that due to leakage of tanker valve in Nashik, there has been a massive leakage of oxygen. We will give a press note when we get more information.
